I just spent the day essentially duplicating the Boat Club website on this "blog thing" because it seemed easy enough and will provide a much easier way of keeping news stored automatically without me having to know what I am doing. This should provide an electronic record of what goes on at the boat club going forward. This may also totally replace the website but for now I am going to leave it up....

A couple break-ins on the Lake at McKellar Point and Cozen Point were reported last week. The break-in at Mckellar point occurred sometime between June 11th and the July long weekend. Not sure when the break-in at Cozen Point occurred.

The boat club sign has now  been placed at the upstream side of the Pitt River at the entrance to the slough. It sure is strange not seeing the pilings on the downstream side of the slough. Hopefully everyone will remember how shallow it is over there and not get stuck when the water eventually gets lower...
