Electoral Area A Pitt Lake resident contacts,
This email is to make you aware of two proposed Electoral Area A Zoning
Amendment Bylaws that the MVRD Board will be considering at their February 27,
2026 Board meeting. Information related to both amendments is provided
below.
In
summary:
- The
Wigwam Inn amendment bylaw would revise zoning regulations that
apply only to that site, which is located at the northern end of Indian
Arm.
- The
Temporary Use Permit amendment bylaw would introduce temporary use
permits as a general tool into the zoning bylaw.

regarding these amendment bylaws. For easy reference, the information and links

February 27, 2026, the Metro Vancouver Regional District (MVRD) Board of
Directors will consider giving first, second, and third readings to, and adopt

1447, 2026. This meeting will take place at 9:00 am, in the 28th Floor
Boardroom, at 4515
Central Boulevard, Burnaby, British Columbia. The meeting will be open to
the public and broadcast live.
