Low water at the boatclub

Watch out for low water at the boatclub this weekend. The combination of cold weather , lack of precipitation ,  low flows out of the Pitt River  and Fraser River in combination with Low Tides have all combined to create very low water levels at the boat club during low tides.
You can check  the tide tables to give you a rough  idea of the conditions at the boatclub (taking an appropriate delay into account for the travel time between the station you use and the time it takes the tide to get from that station to the boat club.

I use the new westminster tide levels and add 60 to 90 minutes to have an idea of water levels at the boatclub.

And here are several photos taken at the boat club around 9:20 p.m. You can see from the plot above that low tide is around 8:00 p.m. and that (for this day) the photos taken at the boatclub 80 minutes later (9:20 p.m. ) show the lowest tides I think I have ever seen..
